Microsoft ignored his detailed report of the failing process, marked his ticket as resolved without any real action, and simply closed it.

Their auth process is less reliable than a McDonald's ice cream machine.

Well I'm sure there's some internet explorer vulnerability you can use against Microsoft. IE is still deeply embedded in Windows, you can never escape it.
