Just found a small bug.

To reproduce:

  1. Go to home screen.
  2. Scroll down.
  3. Go to another screen.
  4. Switch to a different account.
  5. Go to home screen.

Expected outcome: You are at the top of home.

Observed outcome: You are scrolled down in home.

So, basically every screen should scroll to top when you switch accounts.

Can't reproduce. I went to my home screen, scrolled down, went to my inbox, switched account and then I went back home, I was scrolled back to the top.

Does it matter which screen I switch to?

Strange. When I have the energy I will try to see if it depends on some option.

Probably not a bug, but is there any issue with the lemmy.dbzer0.com instance? The instance itself seems to load in Summit, but none of the communities populate posts.

I first assumed it was a defederation issue (although I couldn't find a way to confirm?) but https://piefed.social/c/adhd@lemmy.dbzer0.com loads fine, and it loads fine in Connect for Lemmy under my Piefed account, which leads me to think it's a Summit issue. But maybe I'm misunderstanding how federation works.

But then again, if I change accounts/instances in Summit, posts do populate, so maybe it is a Piefed issue. Sorry, genuinely baffled, not sure how both can be true.

This looks like a bug. Will take a look later today. Thanks for reporting!

People in one of the Piefed communities thinks it's a bug related to silenced instances.

I finally got some time to look. Yeah it doesn't appear to be a bug in the app. I asked the developers of PieFed for help. Waiting for a response.

Tonight there were a security issue that put every Piefed users in danger. Most Piefed admins had to shut down their instance and wait for the security patch fix.

The federation is not working well. Some of my post aren’t federating properly. Same for our scheduled post on jlai.lu where we use a piefed.social “bot” account for animating our french communities.
