As a DuckDuckGo user who uses claude and ChatGPT every day, I don’t want AI features in duck duck go because I probably would never use them. So many companies are adding chatbot features and most of them can’t compete with the big names. Why would I use a bunch of worse LLMs and learn a bunch of new interfaces when I can just use the ones I’m already comfortable with

What is your stance on googling things? (lemmy.zip)
 

I frequently find myself debating whether to google an item's location or side quest steps. A lot of times, I try to avoid it as long as I can until I eventually give in after exploring an area for hours. But I always feel a little guilty after. But then I'm like, these games are so damn cryptic, I'd have to spend the rest of my life uncovering all the secrets without google.
