Based on the article it looks like it wasn't even actually being used for magic reasons anymore.

Wang explained that he originally installed the chip to use in magic routines, but quickly discovered that scanning other people’s phones against his hand “really doesn’t come off super mysterious,” especially since many devices have their RFID readers disabled by default.

Switching to his own phone removed the spectacle entirely, leaving the gimmick without much practical use.

Later:

Wang said he rewrote the chip several times to repurpose it. First, it held a Bitcoin address, which he said never came up in conversation, and later changed it to a link to a meme hosted on Imgur.

My second attempt at painting.

I didnt really plan anything at all and just kinda went "I want to paint a very lopsided tree" and then I painted a lopsided tree.

Similar to my previous work, I dont think its perfect or a great work of art but given that I now have only 2 paintings under my belt, it's pretty solid!

I did this a few days ago. It's my first attempt at painting so its not great but I think its solid considering the circumstances.

No it was a guy and it was a genuine believe that you could get in trouble for refuting.

I think this might be one of the most annoying genres of YouTube video.

True but I feel like they'd find a way to either bring him back or get a new one in his place.

I enjoyed the movie until the romance happened.

If Alita 2 decides to completely cut the love interest I'm sure it'll be good.

If someone gave you an incorrect starting line, digging further can't get you to the correct ending.

I dont think that getting a summary overview of something and learning it are exactly the same thing.

The famous example is Rome and how it fell.

If you ask for a basic summary you'll get 100s of different answers if not 1000s because thats how many factors were in play over the extremely long course of the fall of Rome. Skipping over those details only leads to... well... skipping over details...

Even if AI was 100% perfect always right, theres no way a summary can substitute actually learning something.
