If this is your first language I wouldn't focus on variety too much. Just pick something and start building. Once you pick up one language, the next one will be easier. On that note, Typescript (JavaScript with type enforcement) is a great first language. It's multi-paradigm so you get exposure to lots of concepts and can use it in many different ways. That means you can learn tons of concepts without having to learn the syntax of another language first.

Make sure you use typescript, not JS. I'm assuming this is a learning experience for you. You'll learn about type enforcement, get much more out of your IDE, build safer programs, and be better prepared for your next language.

DM if you have any questions about getting started as a developer.

For all clothing I default to thrift stores. For me, better consumption is buying stuff that already exists as a way to reduce demand. Also mending and taking care of what I have.

If you have to buy new, I'm not sure compostable is the "right" choice. Better to buy something that will last a long time if you're buying new, and compostable is likely to degrade (in my assumption).

I'm so glad someone else knows about this and also hates it haha. I went on a tinder date once, and in the texting stage the guy told me Grinch night was his favorite movie. I saw how short it was and tried to watch it before meeting him so we had something to talk about.

Horrible, I couldn't finish it. He was also a boring film nerd so that may have had something to do with it. I wanted to roast him so hard for that trash ass pick of a favorite movie.
