Thanks for that mental image... Dancing Bear.

This seems foolish. How will I know it's a Batman film with a name like that?
Oh, thank goodness. It'll cover book 2, right?
Since we already have a perfect film adaptation of book 1?
I'll see myself out.
People spend more on Apple/Nintendo because of quality.
Perhaps we had very different experiences with the JoyCon...
Joking aside, I agree. I used to buy Nintendo for that reason. Then came JoyCon drift and out of control Nintendo lawyers.
Oh...That would explain the endorsements by barbeque chefs on the book sleeve.
if you have a Nvidia graphics card... Audio issues are also prevalent.
True. But do we have to include the NVidia disclaimer in every post about Linux adoption?
Maybe we genuinely should start. It seems like it burns a lot of folks.
Some vendors have lousy Linux support.
But then, MacOS on Dell hardware, and Windows on MacBook also both require extensive CLI. iOS on Samsung gets pretty weird.
I think maybe the disclaimer we should get better at adding is:
Take care to purchase hardware that advertises Linux support.
Lots of old hardware just works on Linux, but folks trying Linux for the first time should be encouraged to check for a vendor statement.
This is the most Lemmy interaction I've seen in awhile:
Linux is fine without CLI for web browsing.
...
But when I needed an advanced secure virtual machine isolated torrent solution, I had to use the CLI.
...
Here's some thoughts on accomplishing that in Linux without the CLI.
I'm not complaining, just watching in admiration of you all.
Amazon - the logistics company - is just a front end for (and leech on) various drop shippers, lately, anyway.
Amazon used to carry quality guarantees, and have meaningful reviews, but lately the wild West crapshoot of the rest of the web is just as good.
(And at least on the rest of the web I have some idea who I'm buying from, and can avoid them after a bad experience. On Amazon, it got to where there was no way I could tell.)
Thank you. My big question from this list was "WTF is a Shenmue?"
Crazy how ethics work. Like a pig might be more physically and mentally capable than an individual in a vegetative state, but we place more value on the person.
I looked this up in my ethics textbook and it just went on and on about pigs being delicious.
I think I might try to get a refund.
Controlling people's media experience to push political propaganda that helps powerful people and harms individuals - that seems really shitty.
I can't think of any app developer or political party who would do that.
(This is an attempt at surrealist humor.)
The big news here is that YouTube had a code of conduct of any kind, and managed to hide it so effectively.
