Honestly, I think it's best to just block them and be done with it. It's now clear they're not simply misinformed and are in fact trying to hide the original sources on purpose. I have no idea what they think they'll gain by doing that.

Your instance admin(s) could obviously remove their mod rights and/or ban them, but I guess technically they aren't breaking any rules.

No, I also do citations for !furry_memes@pawb.social so I cannot do that. Also I will keep citing their posts even as they get removed so that people don't think that that is theirs.

Wowie, first of all, thank you very much for actually linking the source in the comments on those posts! That should be really helpful for everyone wanting to read more. Second of all, how dare someone mod and remove these comments as spam, that is hecked up!

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this feels like they're actively trying to make all of these personal experiences of others feel like their own original thoughts. That community was allegedly made to be a mirror of the Reddit community, same with !furry_memes@pawb.social . There's zero reason to be hiding the original link if there's good intentions, and they should be putting it in themselves.
