I'm talking about Arzette: Jewel of Faramore. I actually liked it a lot.

It's not amazing but it does what it sets out to do superbly, with maybe a couple kinks here and there. If you're looking for an action platformer on the easier side, then it's serviceable, but I wouldn't sell it on that. It's definitely a game where "greater than the sum of its parts" is an apt description.

It goes on sale fairly regularly for $10 on Steam, and it just hit GOG where it could go for a similar price. Else, you could try it when you're a little MMM richer.

If you were ever curious about No Mans Sky the game is an amazing state with a fuckton of content. Game is basically on every platform. I migh just dump another 100 hours into it.

TLDR big overhaul of the Settlement system

new robot settlements

you can be the mayor of up to 4 settlelements

settlements can come under attack by sentinels, pirates and bugs and if you have recruited squadmates they can come and help defend your settlement.

Some cute stuff ~ your settlement will impact the economy of the system it is in

Hi all,

I wanted to share the most recent episode of my podcast series, because it was our second collaboration with the awesome folks over at MeansTV (with more planned for the future!). The documentary series we discussed is also really cool, because it's about this intersection between niche online community building, digital preservation and its challenges, and obscure gaming history. We try to cover a lot in a short amount of time, but I'm also trying to use my show as a way to platform leftist creators and media, so that's why I tend to share episodes on here a lot.

And if you don't mind, please do give us a kind rating and review on the podcast platform(s) of your choice. We are everywhere, but it's hard to get our show seen without reviews. Thanks! Also, our season 1 finale is next week, and it's gonna be a doozy. :)

I've always thought these are dumb but I'm starting to think I understand the appeal and wanna try getting into them. It would be cool if it had some strategic or customization elements, is available on PC, and can pretty much fully be played with a mouse. It doesn't have to be totally idle I'm okay clicking around sometimes I just don't want to be that engaged. Like a background thought kinda game.

What's the scoop on this weird ass genre

So far I've found that Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper, SADX, Yu-Gi-Oh The Power Of Chaos Tribology are some great abandonware titles.

This town racial-profiles and the cops wouldn't let me leave. The lady at the Inn wouldn't let me get a room, I saw someone with the same name as me on the sign-in sheet so I tried to lie my way into a room, but she wasn't fooled. I ended up hanging out with some kids who thought we were the same age. Nothing weird happened and there are absolutely zero power dynamic issues here. They told me about a secret passage if I played tag with them, which took hours. The passage didn't lead out of the town, but it did lead to this old guy's telescope and he told me about the Gamer Kid who's been terrorizing the town with various hamas-antifa-style intimidation tactics and violence. He might have killed some royal-relative dude on that forest path but I was too busy chasing after him to notice.

Also I hear coughs everywhere I sometimes asked people about it but they'd change the subject or sometimes even out-right deny that they coughed or that there was any problem.

Ended up finally getting out of town and heading south to some disgusting swamp that I think might be literally toxic. I thought maybe I went so far south to like Louisiana or something, but they just call it the Southern Swamp here or something. There was some kinda' tourist trap location on the edge of the swamp and some fellow 'scrubs' like me deep inside the swamp. Anyway, this place sucks ass too. Seems to be an actual authoritarian hermit kingdom. But it had a missing princess, so this was a chance to get a princess GF. Met a giant fucking owl that could talk and he taught me a song that he said would help me, although to be honest it kinda' sucked. Eventually found a hidden temple with the princess inside and a giant native guy who I couldn't tell if I should take his side or not. He kept saying the same like 3 short sentences over and over and kept attacking me and the bugs were so bad in there. So I killed him and he in the commotion I could tell if he turned into a mask or maybe he ran away and left the mask there but I got it and met a giant (like at least 6' 1") who said he'd help me combat the masked Gamer Kid. Took the little princess back and everyone was happy and at least the swamp healed.

Anyway, don't buy a Switch 2 in 2 days.
