drinking in public spaces is also illegal
Lmao fine! It's annoying but I get it. If we're having a picnic, everyone must be comfortable and happy. So let's do it this way, anyone that wants to meet up for a smoke session before the picnic is welcome to join me and if you me slipping away from the crowd your few moments, you know what's up. But I'm actually fine with keeping the picnic itself PG for the sake of all ages and cultures.

In this case, spending all day at the park would get boring after a while. Maybe it depends on the park.

That's totally fair. Not everything has to be an excuse to get drunk or stoned or whatever. Just being in good company, eating good snacks and hanging out can be enough.
