Wait, do the euros NOT want to kill refugees and migrants? I was under the impression this was a "politically sanitary" way to do exactly that.

I mean yeah they do, but if they're earnest about putting these down to kill Russians, then it's more a side benefit than the intent

but if they’re earnest about putting these down to kill Russians

This is complete nonsense from military point of view, like Maginot Line but way worse, since mines by themselves ain't gonna stop anything, especially on a potential front so wide. But eurocrats are now on this level of malicious stupidity they might as well believe in their own delusions.

It's such a 1916 mindset, too. Like, land invasion? Come on. The euros know Russia doesn't need or want their little specks of land. If it comes to provoking another war, good luck stopping ballistic missiles, artillery, glide bombs and drones with landmines.

Therapy and calming the fuck down will do a lot more for their "national security" than any amount of defense spending at this point.

Yeah i doubt even the total loons like Kallas really expect Russia to attack them. It's about maintaining their cushy imperialist stools in EU and in times of faltering capitalism naturally they will resort to fascism to do it, and fascism needs The Enemy.
