If it was taking 20 seconds, you had something broken. Probably would have been better to get it fixed
Make-believe I wasn't clear enough, it should stay off for longer than 20 seconds but it starts too quickly.
I pull up to a drive through windows at the pharmacy. Engine stops when the vehicle stops. It should then stay off until it reaches the max timer or there is too much draw on the battery for the a/c or heater or something like that.
What happens instead is that it restarts after an inconsistent period of time, might be five seconds or it might be 20 seconds or longer, even if the a/c, radio, and headlights are all off. What it doesn't do is wait for a couple of minutes until I am ready to go.
It is an issue with that specific model, they can't fix it any more than the shitty automatic brights that don't work right. I'm fine with the brights as I prefer to control those manually anyway.
