Fuck it, I'm gonna blame foreigners even more!

Rupert Murdoch is responsible for most of the fascist propaganda.

Benjamin Netanyahu has been corrupting the Democrats and helped lose the election for them.

Elon Musk is destroying the country, in a bad way.

Adolf Hitler inspired MAGA to be as awful as they are.

White people should never have invaded Turtle Island, that's the cause of all America's problems today.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Rupert Murdoch and Elon Musk are both American citizens. I see that blueMAGA has reached the same point as their red counterparts in thinking that even naturalised citizens are foreigners.

But yes, anything to avoid accepting Americas problems could have domestic origins.

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Were Elon and Rupert accepted by the tribal governments of the regions where they live? Or were they "naturalised" by the fascist occupiers whose authority you're legitimising?

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh, you literally are saying naturalised citizens are foreigners.

You must be a big fan of Trump's deportations.

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

No, I don't think fascists who take over the government should be deported. I think they should be executed. What's with your soft stance on Nazi billionaires?

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Oh ok, so you think Trump doesn't go far enough and that he should be executing naturalised citizens for being foreign.

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Elon and Rupert aren't naturalised. I bet they don't even know the story of Sky Woman! They don't speak any of the indigenous languages, they don't follow the customs, they don't respect the tribal elders.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

You must be a big fan of Trump’s deportations

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You want to let fascist billionaires who have taken over the government live, just because an illegitimate state granted them citizenship? That's pretty neolib tbh.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

"neolib is when you don't want to execute immigrants for not getting born here" is certainly the kind of take I expect from blueMAGA.

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I didn't say that. You're jumping at shadows.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah it is, I didn't make you say that Trump's deportations are bad because they should be executions instead.

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I didn't say that either. You're confused.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You were the one who wanted to play stupid word games, you baby. Now you're having a strop when it's done to you?

[–] OccultIconoclast@reddthat.com 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Calling people names doesn't make you right.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -2 points 2 days ago

Then you shouldn't have started doing it, you big crybaby.

It's here in this very thread

[–] abbotsbury@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Democrat partisans are not comparable to the MAGA movement

[–] Samsuma@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Different colors, different presentation, same fucking ideology.

So brave. Tell us, what sort of "good faith" statements did you have in mind on the topic of Team Blue and Team Red's consensus on genocide, bombing campaigns, scapegoating foreigners, violating students for holding thoughts that go against the interests of the empire (whether via abduction through the ICE, by direct police brutality or through deportation), violating land rights to the Native Americans, continuing slavery, whether via salary theft, student debts, healthcare debts, or via prison slaves (as it is literally enshrined in the constitution)?

[–] CMonster@discuss.online -1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

I've looked at enough of your posts to see your just a reactionary looking to punch down on everyone who won't submit to your brow beating. Try buiilding community instead of shitting on literally everyone who thinks differently than you.

In short you seem like an asshole who like to preach moral superiority with nothing to back it up. Have the day you deserve.

[–] Samsuma@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yes my posts pack quite the punch for bloodthirsty libs like you hiding behind a "goodwill" veneer who certainly care about building communities (but not for anyone outside of their KKKlub), thank you for noticing.

Anyways, that's enough sidetracking, let's try this once again: tell us, what sort of “good faith” statements did you have in mind on the topic of Team Blue and Team Red?

[–] CMonster@discuss.online -1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

ASo many opinions that show you don't understand or can't be bothered to learn the nuances. I'm not verbose enoigh to educate you. Bye now.

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

[–] Samsuma@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 day ago

Yes yes, we've already went over this, my opinions are quite heavy to read. Anyways, there's no rule that says you should be verbose to be able to explain the sort of “good faith” statements you had in mind on the topic of Team Blue and Team Red (unless that's a cult-like behavior from Reddit carried on here? Who knows).

In fact, if you're able to explain in simple terms, then there should be no problem explaining, so knock yourself out. What sort of “good faith” statements did you have in mind on the topic of Team Blue and Team Red?

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago

You were the one coming in saying everyone who thinks different to you is "bad faith", fuck off with your projection

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago

"Bad faith is when anyone disagrees with me"

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Why? They've basically adopted most of the MAGA movements ideology, just with the parties switched and a different foreign scapegoat.

[–] Nimbly@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They’ve basically adopted most of the MAGA movements ideology

If you honestly believe this, then you aren't living in reality.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is really all you shitlibs have, isn't it? Just smugly insisting that you're right.

[–] Nimbly@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

Prove it then, show me exactly how there are no differences between Republicans and Democrats.
