European brains cannot comprehend that this is a “car” and not a semi-truck.

Also, isn’t it dangerous to do the stabby stabby with tires? Because they might burst? Asking for a friend.

Also can't comprehend the "protected" bike lane.
It just looks like more road

Don’t you see the thin strip of « same concrete as the road but paler »?! Totally protected now!

Also, if it was a higher wall, a car could get slightly damaged if it veered of course. Totally unacceptable. Human bodies don’t scratch the paint off as much.

Lentil under the cap, slowly releasing the pressure.

[–] Rooster326@programming.dev 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Do you regularly carry lentils for this purpose?

Rocks are both free and everywhere. I see some in this picture

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 weeks ago

Can you eat rocks when hunger attacks, NO!
This is why I always carry my pocket lentils!!

So they don't notice and then they drive with flat tires and crash into and kill decent pedestrians and cyclists?

[–] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

They'll notice.

Not that slow. Most cars stay in place over the course of a day around 23h (maybe not at a time), but still: if the driver doesn't hop in immediately, the tire will be mostly or totally deflated at when they arrive.

yes, just let the air out.
THEN STABY-STABY

If it's a car, you can stab 30PSI and not die. If it's an actual, real truck, it's well past 100PSI and will blow your hand off.

[–] zr0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Ok good to know that I will not die when it’s 30PSI. But will I be deaf? Will it blow loudly so everyone notices?

If you poke it slowly, it will make a slow leak. However it will be easily repairable.

Personally I started to cut brake lines instead.

[–] winkerjadams@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The tread is easily repairable but you cant repair sidewall damage legally, at least where I am. 😉

The car I was hitting was "owned" by someone who did nothing legally. I eventually figured out the reason he drove cars like they were stolen was because they were actually stolen.
