With every medication that I've tried that has been at all effective (it's a short list, adderall and nuvigil), when on: WOW IT'S SO QUIET IN MY HEAD, and then when off: ah, there's all the noise again.

So, I don't doubt that overall I'd be better at life if I was taking meds, but at the same time, I've never experienced anything else, and I'm kind of scared of what my head would feel like without the noise.
