Source tells me that Naval Special Warfare teams were also given deployment orders yesterday, as well as a bunch of Tier 1 operators.
That plus the 82nd Airborne deployment plus Netanyahu's obvious feint that he expects a ceasefire agreement this weekend suggests all the pieces are in place for a ground operation within day.

It feels lazy to put all our analysis on incompetence and arrogance but there really is no other way to explain it. Like I want to be careful to not underestimate the empire but every move makes it impossible to underestimate them. Very frustrating.
I don't think it's lazy. This is a common thread that weaves throughout the entire history of European colonialism. Their racist ideology repeatedly causes them to underestimate their enemy. In the case of Iran, this has reached a completely new level of absurdity.
Combine this with the empire's decline and we're witnessing a defeat the scale of which the US has never before experienced. Trump is the perfect embodiment of this arrogance.
