Picture this: it’s 2035. You haven’t owned a car in three years. A self-driving pod arrives whenever you tap your phone. That two-car garage? It’s now transformed into a yoga studio, a home theater, or a home gym.

We’ve been dedicating our best square footage to vehicles that sit idle 95% of the time. As personal vehicle ownership declines, every homeowner gains access to a bonus room — art studios, small businesses, or whatever you’ve been dreaming of.

The future isn’t just about driverless technology. It’s garageless — and your home just became significantly larger.

How do you plan to transform your home in the future?

Ignoring everything else, "our best square footage"? You mean the big room with concrete floors and no climate control?

Don't get me wrong, I love my garage workshop, but let's have some perspective here.

You could just install an Air conditioner? Like if you are spending enough time in the garage to need climate control it'd probably be worth it, unless the walls are brick but thats probably the exception. Like my garage has an AC and it's fucken ancient, but it's there probably doesn't work though I doubt anyone has tested that for the last 27 years.

Yeah sure, my point is that it's hardly the "best square footage".
