Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

For reasons that boggle my mind, I am required to keep a Google account for work (ties into some proprietary software the company uses)

It's specifically a labour law that regulates employers. In Quebec it is Law 25. So I guess get mad at François Lagault? This was an easy 20 second Google search to know the answer. People constantly say epically stupid shit to me that could be prevented by a 20 second Google search. Stop being that person.
