I don't understand how an entire country can be full of so much hate. Did they forget the holocaust? Are they deniers? Do they not have empathy? Is it societal? What a stain on humanity.

It is a "monkey see, monkey do" syndrome. Or more correctly "slave syndrome". Meaning "slaves want to do what their masters were doing", "want to be a boss to do what his/hers boss is doing to them".

When someone is abused and survived there is big chance that they will became abusers if they can.

I refuse to believe that. humans are some of the most social, compassionate, and empathetic animals to ever exist. this is tribalism taken to its extreme, promoted by propaganda and an insular culture. theres a reason these far right groups seek to dehumanize their "enemies", and it's because if people they see them as human they wont do shit like this. israel conditions its people to see others this way, intentionally. it isn't human nature left to its own devices at all.
