If there is one place in the US that doesn’t need to be taking climate change and the expected sea rise seriously it is FL. They are pretty much untouchable given how it is an interior state with high elevations.
LOL! Came here to point the exact same thing out.. What with downtown Miami being so elevated above sea level and all that.
