❗️Iran moves to deepen strategic partnership with China amid post-war economic review
Iran's Special Representative for China, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, held his first joint meeting with key economic officials, including the economy minister, oil minister, central bank governor, budget chief, and industry minister, to coordinate Iran's economic agenda with China and strengthen bilateral ties.
During the meeting, Iranian officials reviewed recent developments in relations with Beijing and discussed China's economic behavior during the Ramadan War and the period when the Strait of Hormuz was closed.
Participants also examined major issues affecting bilateral relations and agreed to submit proposals aimed at deepening cooperation and resolving outstanding challenges.
The discussions focused on creating a unified government approach toward China and enhancing economic coordination across state institutions.
Ghalibaf is also working on a new Iranian strategy to elevate relations with Beijing and expand cooperation on regional and international issues, presenting China as Iran's principal strategic partner.
