We're going to vote for them again in the next election in the name of "harm reduction" or "being realistic" and they're going to keep doing the same feckless shit over and over again.

Not something my schedule allows. That's the point. If you can do it, more power to you. "Be a politician yourself" doesn't always align with the goal of supporting a family.

Juggling family responsibilities is tough. There’s still a lot you can do though. Talk to your friends, family, and neighbors. Let them know your concerns and encourage them to voice their opinions with others as well. Attend local township meetings and town halls. Even just staying informed can make a difference.
