They just can't conjure the creativity to make a new story, can they? Just the same old rehashed story over.. and over... and over again
I mean everything good was made from the 1600s to the 1990s. I guess after that our brains stopped being able to create . or more likely the simulation ended in 99.

Or capitalism crushes the ability for creativity to flourish with the whole soul crushing traps of existence. And or has become so selective, with their main aim being money, the actual content it creates being entirely irrelevant to the first aim, unsurprisingly the content is devoid of any charm and is now obviously displaying their only M.O.

Nobody wants to take risks so we get same old siot over and over again. Till people stop watching it they'll make it.
