Alternatively and truly: what is the point of the tone you’re using in the last sentence? You’re not aiming to shame me out of taking and making photographs, are you? Even if you don’t want to call them art, I’m still using a camera to capture visuals that I enjoy to a file, and adjusting them to my heart’s content. And what if I don’t really understand your definition of perspective vs. zoom? English is a second language for me!

i am someone pointing your attention to the fact that you don't zoom with your feet. i assume you did not know that, because why would you say that otherwise, so now you know something you didn't before and you can think about how to apply that knowledge to your pictures of cool things. i don't really need to present my portfolio for that.
