"Get" is pronounced somewhat close to "yet", so it's a soft "g". And "killing" is pronounced "shilling", so a "soft" "k", as well.

and if you're in finland, killing is pronounced like chilling (finland swedish) (not 100% sure on this one though so swedish speaking finns feel free to destroy me in a debate of facts and logic if i'm wrong)
