I understand people celebrate this, but man, he is clearly foul baiting in the final mins to break the record.

I mean it's not only Bam but i also dont like what SGA is doing to get more free throws. Peole enjoy it, i get that. But man this is obviously stat padding and not competing for the team to win.

There would already be a lot of guys out there that could have break kobe's or even Wilt, but they decide not to cause it's already trash time.

A testament to just how bad the wizards are

This is weird. Bam doesn't belong there though. He's a good player but no where a legend.

It was against the wizards and the heat were apparently fouling while up a ton just to give bam more shots. Like it’s impressive but Kobe’s 81 was definitely more “honest”.

Durant's comment is a backhanded compliment if one ever was made. "It takes a lot of stamina" is what his comment boils down to which points to the volume of the shots rather than talent--which seems pretty clearly supported. When your own team decides to go for it, when the other team is The Wizards who care nothing for the sport, when refs decide to play along, when you're a has-been playoff threat 6th ranked team in the east...it all has to line up. Some "moment”. Big asterix to me.

I knew eventually someone would break Kobe’s record but wasn’t expecting it to be Bam, but happy for him!

We all knew Bam had it in him.
