Administration yes, Trump not so much.
Trump is a narcissistic sociopath with dementia. He doesn't care that this war is insanely unpopular. He's fully convinced in his own abilities to steal the 2026 election and permenantly end US democracy.
And the Dems have, at best, not offered any meaningful resistance to him whatsoever. At worst, they're literally complacent.
I thought Venezuela was just gonna hand it over.
The thing that sucks about all of this is that, yet again, we're all footing the cost of this.

They are not panicking.
That they would be panicking implies they had no way to know or guess that attacking anyone in the Middle East would cause an issue with oil production and transport. If that is the case, they really are the stupidest bastards out there.
