'Crazy plane lady' Tiffany Gomas makes career switch two years after viral rant

Two years after she went viral following a meltdown onboard an American Airlines flight, self-proclaimed “crazy plane lady” Tiffany Gomas is launching a Passes page in which subscribers can pay to see her pose in a bikini.
This week Gomas announced on social media that she will be launching a paid site that will give supporters a behind-the-scenes look at her “chaos: work, workouts, pups, sports, shoes, & fits.”
“I told y’all that mf wasn’t real… but this is…” she wrote on X. “Relaunching now on Passes. Come chat with me here and I’ll answer all your questions.”
On Instagram, she told her 159,000 followers her new PG-13 account will offer an “unfiltered, unexpected and unapologetic” look into her life.
Monthly packages range from $10 to $70 and includes access to her photo uploads, discounts on pay-per-view material, messaging, signed Polaroid pics (for $500), Instagram follow backs (another $500) and other goodies.
Some of her followers were hoping Gomas was going to announce she was joining the racier Only Fans, but the Dallas-based marketing exec opted for Passes, which doesn’t permit explicit content.
Gomas made headlines worldwide in the summer of 2023 after she charged to the front of a plane on an Orlando-bound flight before takeoff declaring one of her fellow passengers was “not real.”
“I’m telling you, I’m getting the f*** off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f*** off and everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it,” Gomas was seen screaming as she marched down the aisle.
Pointing towards the back of the plane, she declared: “I don’t give two f****, but I am telling you right now – that motherf***** back there is not real. You can sit on this plane, and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
After the incident, Gomas quashed online chatter from conspiracy theorists that she had seen something otherworldly.
“The reason I probably haven’t come out yet is that it’s so cringe,” she said during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast.
Gomas said her outburst happened after she got into “a little bit of an altercation” with a fellow passenger.
So she admitted she was psychotically breaking doen, or just super racist to the point she declared someone not subhuman, but void of existence altogether?

I was OOTL, so I just watched the source for the first time... Wow. It's so much worse than I expected. Main Character Syndrome dialed up to 11. A hundred people have to stare at you and wait while you make a scene and finish your whining monologue before leaving.
Sorry if you've seen it before and are over it, but this is the entitlement of a privileged white woman on full display. I think she was under the effects of something, or having a mental break or something, but even if she just "had an argument with someone" (as she claims), she then had to inconvenience everyone else with her public tantrum...
I think she was genuinely having a bad trip. Yes, it's unbecoming to act that way but I'd rather give her the benefit of the doubt and think some drugs she took disagreed with her than think she's just an awful and very difficult person regularly. 🥲

I didn't say that, that was the person I was replying to, but let me see: maybe. It's the intersection of being both white (of European descent) and American (most likely the descendant of genocidal settlers and, if not, at least part of the in group by now) that makes her more likely to act this way because of a personal shortcoming, a flawed character, instead of something else like drugs (even if I want to believe otherwise because I'd rather ignore some things and remain sane and hopeful). Americans are largely confused and propagandised, white Americans are straight up insane and bloodthirsty (else the entirety of American history wouldn't have taken place), at least on average and relative to the rest of the world. This country elected Trump, Bush, Nixon, etc and tacitly accepts or even encourages and fully supports the police harassing, assaulting, murdering and now kidnapping minorities, let's be real for a second and accept white Americans are, on average and as part of the country, "bad people".
Let's put it this way: I've never seen such chutzpah except for in European Americans, and Israelis, of course. I don't think it has much to do with race by itself, or at all even, but more to do with the sociocultural background of these groups (being an imperialist amoral little devil doesn't help your overall attitude, I guess). Correlation, not causation, basically.

Not great for her, I imagine, considering this was a tantrum now immortalized on the internet. She's tried to ride the coverage like hawk tuah girl did, but with much less success it seems. Probably just doomed to be recognised at random times, likely in a mixed-bag fashion.
The worst part of this story is that as far as I know despite talking to the media multiple times she never explained what the fuck she was talking about.

Ok, so there are people on Facebook who believe that many celebrities and politicians are being replaced with doubles, like robots or clones or some shit. I am not even kidding, it’s a mainstream enough opinion on there that you will see it expressed in comments without having to look for it.

Yeah I’m a skeptic and enjoy debunking conspiracy theories so I’ve actually encountered this in the wild quite a bit.
It’s a bunch of people who think Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) and They Live (1988) were documentaries with a little good old fashioned Illuminati nonsense mixed in for good measure. It’s as if someone watched part of a David Icke video once then tried to describe his beliefs to someone else from memory. It’s just such a painfully unoriginal conspiracy theory for people with TikTok attention spans.

I don't find that explanation satisfactory. This is just minimizing not explaining. I was well aware of this cover story when I made my comment.

Oh I don't doubt that she's probably doing it to avoid making her legal issues worse, but that doesn't help explain anything.
