Configure -> Configure dolphin... Then select the view tab, and "remember display style for each folder"
Also Configure -> configure toolbars should let you put things where you want them.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

For the first question's answer, that doesn't work if the directory's file system supports extended file attributes, as Dolphin will prioritize those above the .directory file.
Who is Dolphine? She sounds cute.
Good idea! I don't know, but I'm watching this thread. :D
That is a setting in the Dolphin settings
How about you list ALL your questions in one post... or is that too difficult for you
