So there really is no point where there is a mechanism to save the office of the president should mental illness and incapacity dominate the working of the Supreme leader's mind? The King walks naked and we just keep saying his clothes look fabulous?
There is, but the people who wrote it didn't foresee a world in which an entire established political party just blindly follows everything that the incapacitated person says.
The framers of the constitution and the people who wrote its amendments were so sure that only people with integrity and good intentions would hold elected office that they didn't give us a plan for removing shallow, greedy megalomaniacs.
But they also didn't consider themselves smart enough to have thought of everything which was the whole point of the amendment system. Which was promptly discarded as soon as it became more convenient to reinterpret the letter of the constitution to suit your needs while calling yourself an originalist.
I truly believe that if the framers of the constitution had any idea that they were basically writing a religious document, they would have built in the requirement for a constitutional convention every 25-ish years.
I think they would be horrified by the idea that we had only passed 27 amendments in 237 years.
Some actually did, which is why they didn’t like political parties.

Inflation is generally more of a poor peoples problem, the rich don't suffer like the rest of us. Lots of opportunities for the parasite class to steal even more wealth.

Instead, their wealth is largely invested in assets such as shares, which can rise in value over time. When they need cash, they can often borrow against those assets rather than sell them
They have people whose job it is to shift the wealth around according to the current situation. They are unlikely to suffer with the rest of us.
Take Corona: the super rich got much wealthier while we and the economy went down.

You can make boat loads of money off inflation if you play your cards right and have investments in property!
