A few days ago when i was feeling more motviated and organised i said "i'm going to rewatch one lecture every day in the evening this week" and added it to my calendar.

Today I just got a notification saying "LECTURE AT 6 !!!" and was like omg i'll never make it there in time and I'm so comfy and relaxed now; I forgot all about it and have already missed the first 2 days of my planned "relaxed revision week." No biggie.

I also do this over and over again. I write a schedule and then my brain forgets about it. Sometimes i'm pleasantly surprised to see "do x fun thing" when i'm locked in or busy spending time with other people instead.

Also took me longer that i needed to to start using Google calendar because i was terrified that it would display my schedule to anyone who looks it up using my email address. It doesn't, or rather you have to tick something to make it do that.

Same shit happens to me when I reuse an alarm I had labeled for something else.

I would never. I open so many tabs(like google calendar) on my PC every time I boot it and 30 min in, Firefox crashs

Also, this post made realize I am actually suppose forgot about google calendar, instead of checking it every 10 min

So true. I first started actually using Google calendar when my uni timetable was added, and got into the habit of looking at it too much because of anxiety. I definitely do the same thing with emails because I never get email notifications unfortunately.

One of my favourite tools now though. You can set up a schedule for people to book meetings with you or generate links corresponding to social meets, helping people to remember them and plan their day around the meeting. It's actually pretty good because I can suggest multiple things I might want to do that day and have them overlap, then finally choose one.
