I am conflicted on this as it seems like mostly novelty/rich people shit, but that said I have more trust in China to roll this sort of thing out safely than the techbros in silicon valley undertaking a similar effort. The one company I know of is called Joby and honestly I still follow the TrueAnon rule: Never get in a helecopter.

I like that it's electrified public transit that doesn't rely on car infrastructure. If I can't bike somewhere or take a train/bus, this to me is less destructive than a ground taxi, helicopter, or plane.

I don't trust helicopters or self-driving vehicles and this is both. Would love to be proven wrong though cuz it does LOOK cool as fuck like some shit out of westworld
