Arpineh Masihi was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Diamond Bar, California, last week, according to FOX 11 Los Angeles.

However, her husband Arthu Sahakyan told the outlet: "I'm still supporting [Trump]. Even though my friends say take the flag down, you're going through a lot. I'm like no. The flag stands."

You guys are thinking about this wrong. They don't like their wives. He considers this a win.

At this point he's probably hoping his unwavering support for Trump will translate to some kind of pardon for his wife. He apparently hasn't realized those are going for over $1 million now.

$20 says he called in the ICE tip himself, and is getting remarried next week.

"Trump is not trying to do anything bad," Sahakyan said, per the report. "We understand what he's doing. He wants the best for the country. I'm just trying to make the best of it. I don't want any families to go through this. If they are, I apologize for what they're going through because it's hard."

It's fascism:

"Everything for the state, nothing against the state."

"Everything he did, he did out of love for his country."

Bonus: "If only the tsar knew". This one is not exclusively fascist, but usually something similar is invoked by some older people in former fascist countries who claim that their dear leader did not know what was being done in his name. And russia today too.

He thinks his sacrifice of his wife will stop them from coming back for him

A special kind of stupid cult at that level. The top guys are con men and the followers are rubes.

Maga is nested inside misogyny. His wife's problems are subordinate to his political allegiance. He probably things that trump will recompense the loss of his wife.

Trump could have walked into this man’s house, fucked his wife and ate his dinner, and this sad excuse for a man would have cheered him the whole time

Given his non-WASP name, he’d be under constant pressure to demonstrate that he’s one of The Good Ones. Being the most loyal Trumpist even as his loved ones are fed to the gators is part of that.
