Its a non-story thats going to be feted by the reactionary right wing billionaire owned British press because they love attacking minorities, despite Marchmont Street being the site of 'Gays The Word', the first UK gay bookshop and having huge cultural significance.

If a trans flag is political, then so is a cross. In fact, I'd argue religion is more about politics than it is about faith these days.
Makes me feel for the people who actually use religion as a tool to better themselves and not just as a tool to argue for something when no better argument exists.
No it's way more fucked up than that. They're saying trans people don't actually exist. It's like if I saw a cross and said Christian people don't actually exist. That was just made up a few years ago to get attention and avoid paying taxes. They're ignoring millennia worth of evidence that we've existed, in fact far longer than Christianity has existed and saying it's just a made up political ploy for attention or something like that.

I wasn't asking you? For context, the person who reported it is not a fragile cis dude, it was someone who is queer and likely has experienced some misogyny themselves. Whether you wish to modify your behavior is entirely up to you, but kneejerk reactions and one liner responses aren't particularly helpful here.
