Op should not use disposable emails as backup contacts information. Proton should have given warning before trashing everything on the account.

I'm not 100% sure I understood the whole issue, but I dont see why using an aliased email service (SimpleLogin, which Proton also owns) should be an issue? Its really not even a "disposable email" like TempMail or other services where the email is literally temporary.
