It is an amazing idea! Are there similar software you guys use? Is this the only currently federated music platform?

It kind of seems like it's only for free music? Not for selling your music?

I'm not aware of anything currently that both federates and serves as an online store for downloads, although I think this could be cobbled together using WordPress.

Faircamp is good for building a FOSS music site with streaming and downloads though and you can just share a link to your release/s by hand from a fediverse account.
