If you're obese you should not be allowed to work in a health care related field.
I never can say this out loud, but it legitimately rubs me the wrong way.
I think healthcare can be more of a "do as I say, not as I do" situation. They can be perfectly knowledgable, even if they don't follow their own advice. Life isn't as easy as "just do it", and it's likely helpful for many people to work with someone who understands that.

If you're getting upvotes in this thread you're a lemming that believes what everyone else does and you only allow yourself to consider socially acceptable ideas. Your beliefs are based on social proof, not introspection or critical thinking.
Another one: about 50% of the population are destined to be poor wagies and there's nothing you can do to help them.
Consciousness isn't real. You aren't actually having experiences even though your brain is telling you that you are.
People need to pay extra for their bodily excess weight. I'm done being harassed to pay for a kg more in my baggage.
I don't want mass-adoption of Lemmy by more Reddit users (said a former Reddit lurker who likes it here and actually participates because it's awesome at this stage).
I've struggled with this thought as well.
On one hand, I welcome anyone who wants to contribute in a positive way to the threadiverse. On the other hand if it somehow becomes ubiquitous for this purpose, I feel like it'll lose what makes it special.

I LOVE banana flavored stuff. When I say this, people will often say "even banana flavored Laffy Taffy?". Yes, that's the best flavor and it's not even close.

Private Schools are a must and I rather have great private schools over good public schools
Owning a second home should be illegal.
Disagree, so you're correct in that it's an unpopular opinion.
I would rather go with it is illegal to leave a home unoccupied unless you stay there for more than X days an year, say 100.
Google Stadia was actually a good gaming service.
Especially for Cyberpunk 2077.
