I have 256GB of RAM. Not all in the same machine of course. Much of it not in a machine at all.

i got a laptop with 64 gb of ram right before the prices started to get extremely high
I lucked out building a PC mid-2025. 64 GB of RAM cost me something like 370 USD.
The exact same RAM from the same shop now costs over 1,410 USD. I feel damn lucky.
(Prices converted from my local currency; electronics in this country are already way more expensive than they should be)
yeah but DDR4 or DDR5 :sus:
Not as much as DDR5, but DDR4 has increased its price a lot.
I bought 128GB on Amazon in 2024 for around 240€, went to the product page recently and it is around 1100€.
DDR3. Split between two machines.
I also have 64gb but not DDR5 sadly
