This could be fun!
The headline makes it sound like it's an exciting new reveal about the ~~remake~~ reboot (whatevs) that he will be wielding a sword. Such a creatively bold choice.
wish it were a sequel instead, but ok
We haven't exactly had good luck with Highlander sequels tbh. I bet Cavill is well aware of how bad they are and wouldn't want to be in one.
Maehhh Higkander was only good because of Clancy Brown and Queen. Sans a standout performance as The Kurgen, this will be twrrible. How someone can surpass Clancy Brown... I do not know.
Dave Bautista is The Kurgan.
I have faith in Dave. He’s a solid actor that will hopefully be able to chew the scenery in such a way that does the role justice.
And skimming through the cast, it’s solid. They’ll at least have good actors in it.

I have good hopes for this reboot.
Also: soundtrack will include OG Queen, so have faith my friend.
Yo dawg I heard you like warmed up rehashes of old stuff your dad made you watch but you found kind of dull, and then you’ll second screen the new one on Netflix while your dad rages at all the stuff they changed for no reason.
Reboot. Yawn. Not even Cavill will make it exciting.
