Animation: The technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the film is shown as a sequence.

Post videos that were put together by some human, combining elements of animation and music, in some conscious attempt to make one compliment the other. Animated music videos in other words. This includes but is not limited to: vocaloid videos, anime intros, anime music videos, original animations, disney songs, video game music videos, and so on. 3D/other SFX is fine so long as it's not actively trying to look (hyper)realistic (Does Teardrop pass? Who knows.) Err on the side of cartoon/anime vibes.

This is a visual representation of Johann Pachelbel's composition "Canon." The work visualizes the canon form, where three violins trace exactly the same melody at two-bar intervals. It interprets the changing musical patterns every four bars as ten distinct stages.

This video was created for the Japanese broadcasting station NHK's program "Meikyoku Album+" (Plus).

First Broadcast: March 2018
Directed by Keita Onishi
Music : Canon / Johann Pachelbel
Violin : Mao Ito
Harpsichord : Maho Kamada
