Woah! Wandance freaking lept up the charts! I haven't had a chance to catch the last episode, but I guess I'll be looking forward to it now.

Things are really falling into place now! I feel like they were unfortunately really running up against the budget on this episode. It seems like they did the best they could with what they had, but I would have liked to see more of the action when Shiori attacks Ayame. Also, I wish they had differentiated the voice from the back of Ayame's head more than just on the initial reveal. Could have done something interesting with it. Eh, it was still a good episode, so I won't complain more.
I do find Ayame's whole backstory to be interesting. She's so obviously awful to this kid, but they also need her to be at least a touch sympathetic, and I'm not sure how well they tow that line. I'm honestly glad they didn't stretch that out for this adaptation, because it leaves it up to more of the watcher's interpretation. And of course, her explanation of the mermaid blood is starting to really make the gears turn faster for the story. I'm excited to keep watching!
You can really feel the overall story being rushed, but I found that Kowloon Generic Romance really pays off for many of the characters. The themes of self identity and how trying to live up to the ideals others have of you can hurt you in the end are top-notch. And the entire setting is exquisite. I really think more people should check this one out.
Man, every episode keeps me interested for some reason. On paper, this show is too slow and uninteresting. And yet, each week I get pulled into the story unfolding. I wonder if the books would be worth reading; if they're even translated...
This show is so good. For the amount of time they have, I feel like the world building is fantastic. The idea that you're allowed to be evil, but only under the government's oversight, is such a good bit of world building. The way they all act like tired coworkers is very relatable, too.
The buildup of this episode was just so much. I think next episode has the opportunity to be one of the best episodes so far. Not to say this one wasn't fantastic, of course! I think the foreshadowing and conversations were so good here. The tension keeps getting thicker, it's killing me to wait another week.
That was such a cute scene! This episode was the best one so far, in a large part because the CGI was better, but also because of this scene.
This might have been the best episode so far. The OWEL lady not trying to kidnap Amoru was a nice surprise. I feel like all the characters acted in a way that makes sense not only with their character, but also their current emotional states. If we can have more episodes like this, they might be able to make a true emotional arch for these characters, which would be very impressive.
Another slower episode, but we're slowly learning more about the past and the yokai. I don't remember this section of the manga as much, but I think we are going to get to see some more creepy creatures coming up, which I'm really looking forward to. Love all the bickering Shiori and Miko have. With Hinako being a more subdued protagonist, I think having both of them keep the energy up is important for this show.
The murderer just fell right into his lap? I guess there's more going on what with the beheading, but still, that was a surprisingly quick ending to that plot line. I guess we're getting another backstory episode next week. No idea how this show can keep making decisions that I don't like, but I still look forward to, and enjoy, watching it every week anyway.
I still feel like I'm watching a slow-motion car wreck with this one. It feels like it really wants to be profound, but ends up treating its subject matter so childishly. I think the idea of a different type of relationship emerging in a post-apocalyptic show could be interesting, but this show has yet to make it work in a way that actually makes it believable and not just a trope harem.
As a non manga reader for this series, it's this really the final season!? I mean, it feels like they could totally do a satisfying wrap up, but it still seems so quick. Well, at least it won't overstay its welcome!
