Ha. Yeah, they do.
The tabby (Eddie) had a "brother" that was about the same age and we adopted them both a couple of years ago. The brother was lost to cancer. Eddie was very sad for a while after.
Then we adopted the younger black one, and the tabby has been a lot happier having another friend around.

I have an Evoluent vertical 4. I like it. It has quirks, but overall pretty nice.

Store brand white bread.
Mayo or Miracle whip, whichever was cheapest.
Sliced American cheese, cheapest variety.
Maybe some pepper, if feeling enthusiastic.
