💯 Nothing is totally black and white, and there are things that don't fit broadly for sure, humans are creative problem solvers too, some of these things are just solutions to problems, but there's a team of marketers behind plenty of good ideas to try to turn them into some sort of pseudo drug

Eh, we're all addicts in some capacity, and people have become really good at pushing those buttons. It's kinda sad that this is what human nature is like, but it be how it be, the only thing you can do is be in charge of your own decisions
E: before someone asks how this stuff is addiction, addiction is about mopping up the easiest brain chemicals you can get in the flavour you like, it doesn't have to be meth or booze or whatever everyday example comes to mind
