How long would it take to save up at least 5k for a cheap used car making minimum wage and paying for living expenses? It's impossible for many Americans without going into debt.

Agreed. The vast majority of cats just need to trust you and you'll receive more love than you can handle. It's about consent with them.
Which is why it's a red flag if people say they don't like cats. 9/10 they are not good people if they don't get what they want.
