In formal English, the comma is just wrong. Informally, I agree it does a very effective job of making the message get across that way.

Oh dang, there's a sports edition now?

I love the idea of that. Unfortunately it's probably going to be way to America-centric for me. Someone lmk when they start including IPL and NRL players 😆

To be fair, most French speakers would say the same thing when talking to Quebecois.

No, they have nothing to do with the style of play. They have to do with group dynamics, which is an entirely separate thing.

I actually haven't ever used them myself. I've only played with people I already know or people that those people are vouching for, and I do a solid session zero to establish campaign content and tone. But it's who I'm playing with and the fact that we've discussed it that's relevant there, not whether we're playing heroic fantasy romance or dark gritty realism.

Great to see the AEU come out explicitly calling it a genocide.

Shame on SBS for hedging their comments so much. It really isn't relevant; they had to go a long way out of the flow of the article and this news story just to say "hey, Israel doesn't like it when you point out their genocide".

Because they're valuable whether you're doing sexy romance or gritty realism or something else entirely. They don't factor in with the "various styles of play are all equally valid" conversation.

No, 2 years. To go with the "en mass" part in particular.

No bot today because I've been out all day and never turned my computer on. But one of the things I've done while out is get an ethernet cable to connect my newly-formatted Raspberry Pi up to my network to hopefully run the bot on that, since I've given up getting the Synology to work.

Safety tools shouldn't be lumped under style of play, IMO.

I don't think people are cheering them on in general. Just cheering them on against Israel. Which, like…yeah. One of these countries has been committing outright genocide and murdering journalists and aid workers en mass for the last 2 years, and then provoked this latest attack by firing missiles at the other.

TranscriptionFighter: So uhhhhh... you gotta pretty neat weapon there.

Artificer: Thanks, designed "Ol Buzzy" myself!

Fighter: Mind if I give her a go?

Artificer: Sure, but you need any pointers?

Fighter: Naaaaaw, I can figure it out.

Artificer: *To the DM* CAN he figure it out?

DM: *To fighter* ...roll me a wisdom check.

Fighter: *Nat 1*

DM, Artificer, and Fighter in unison: Hoo boy.
