Kinda like kraft dinner with minced meat. It's pretty good.

I get the point but damn I love Hamburger Helper.

You are incorrect about natural immunity and COVID, studies have shown that the immunity is roughly equivalent. They both fade within a 60-90 day period. Source 1, Source 2. In fact the first source I linked to found that hybrid immunity through both vaccination and recovering from infection naturally provided the most robust protection against future infection.

I personally am not interested in getting new booster shot every 60-90 days. I'll take my odds. Hospitalization rates in healthy adults are incredibly low. The current hospitalization rate is 1.2 people in every 100,000. That's like 0.000012%. I'll take those odds.

I disagree with your characterization of Kirk as just being a "right-wing populist" and denying that he held views that were deeply racist, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic and transphobic. He was a white supremacist and a Christian Nationalist. Lets not beat around the bush. From an outside perspective it appears that you're trying to minimize that or even outright deny that it's true.

I would argue that neither of those facts disqualify him from being antisemitic.

He was definitely antisemitic to some degree. Just look at what he's said about Jewish people:

“Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them."

“The philosophical foundation of anti-whiteness has been largely financed by Jewish donors in the country.”

“[Their] goal is to destroy Western civilization, get rid of anything that the white man might have been responsible for.”

“It is true that some of the largest financiers of left-wing anti-white causes have been Jewish Americans.”

Sounds pretty antisemitic to me.

Totally get it for at-risk individuals. But I'm a young person in relatively good health, I'll take my chances at building the natural immunity from infection.

I feel like you've cherry-picked a few examples of claims people have made that are disprovable while conveniently ignoring some of the more reprehensible things Kirk said and believed.

Trust me, if your employer wants to know if you've been coming into the office or not, they can easily find out without needing Microsoft Teams to tell them about it. They can see what IP address your machine is connecting from. And if you work in a building with secure access they could also just pull your badge-in history to find out if you're actually there or not.

I know it's not terrible, but there is a performance disparity there that you can't ignore. If someone is spending $1000+ on a high end GPU I think it is fair for them to expect a level of performance that's a little better than "fine".

Yes, I think it would upset quite a few people. A lot of great men and women have worked and lived within its walls. It's a pretty meaningful symbol to Americans.

Yeah I understand that things have improved a lot. But it's the 10-30% performance hit in DX12 games that keeps me from wanting to dive into Linux as my primary OS on my gaming machine. If they can get that closer to parity with Windows, I'm all-in on Linux for life.
