Americans elect their president to represent America. Sure, everybody might not fully agree with him, but democracy (if there's some left) speaks for itself.

If POTUS is unhinged, whole America is unhinged. If POTUS is corrupted, whole America is corrupted. If POTUS can't be trusted, whole America can't be trusted. I could go on...
