You're comparing apples and oranges if you focus on immutabilty alone.

EndlessOS may certainly cater to the idea of being user-friendly but unbreakable, but I would consider NixOS to be an advanced distro.

I can certainly second this as an American who emigrated to Germany. I considered myself a strong "Bernie-leftist" in the States yet gravitate more towards the political center here.

Hey, I just got this Laptop for my new job after using an X230 and Retina MacBook Pro for years, nice to see it on Lemmy!

The display, case, trackpad and Linux support is top notch. The keyboard layout is a little weird though. Would anyone be interested in a longer review on my blog?
