The idea is not bad... The problem is that it only will look up it's "statistics tables" to give you an answer... No actual calculations... Maybe we could keep it working by requesting a 4000 word novel each hour... And turn off the app notifications. This will definitely cost them a lot of calculational power. πŸ€”πŸ˜

I'm a sucker for low profile... The Kaihl choc v2 are working pretty good. No binding on these. Also the idea to build it with sockets (unlike the Ferris sweep) already payed off. I tried the 20 grams linear ones and had to switch to 50 grams. I sometimes pressed switches when simply resting my hands on the keyboard. But you can account that to user error. ;)

Switched from my old (tethered) Ferris Sweep to a bigger (4 more keys) GEIST TOTEM with dongle. I even did some tinkering/updating.

  • made the body a bit bigger to support a bigger battery
  • updated the 3d model to print with minimum supports
  • embedded magnets to allow snapping the halves together for transport

on the left half you see some magnets stuck on it as spacers and to show where I put them.
