So why was I given a 30 day ban recently? You have been banned in the past for racism and vote manipulation and yet you were not banned from lemmy.ml so it is difficult for me to understand what I have done wrong so I can avoid doing it again in the future.

This is nothing in Rule 1 regarding being anti-communist.
Rule 1 does include things such as racism, vote manipulation and Rule 4 includes spamming. I wonder why you were not banned for doing all those things.
