Canadian French neoclassical/tech death metal. One reviewer suggests this sounds like if Fleshgod Apocalypse went down a different path. It's got flamenco guitars thrown into its unique mixture lol. Linked is the first track of their second album.

Dissonant black/death metal with a different, hostile atmosphere that smacks you in the face. Linked is the single from their upcoming fourth album Doomed.

In my opinion, this is where Vader peaked in their career, with this epic heavy sound. Every track felt like it had this gravitas to it that you just couldn't ignore. Standouts being Shadowfear, Helleluyah, and Warlords.

One of the greatest death metal, if not in general, albums of all time. Linked is the opening title track, though all of the tracks are worth going through and digesting. RIP Chuck Schuldiner

Excellent track from the new Cryptopsy album that just dropped today. Linked is the uncensored music vid.

13 minute epic deserving of its own EP. Beautifully intricate and pounding, relentless and never boring. Let's make a deal, a diamond for disease.

Another single track post, this one being my favorite of Ulcerate's third album. Love the parts where the vocals let the instruments just do the heavy lifting, especially right at the 3:46 mark to the breakdown soon after.

Old school death metal from Germany. Killer guitar sound, somehow sounds like a chainsaw and a grinder at the same time.

My top track from their latest album. Took me a while to get over their choice to add groove elements when their prodigious drummer passed (r.i.p) but I've come to appreciate their approach to songwriting - brutal and clean and very surgical.

These Danes started out under the name Nakkeknaekker in 2020 and have been touring Europe with growing popularity. Posted and linked is one of the better tracks from their anticipated debut, though all tracks are great, especially the opener.

My top fave track from Allegaeon's first album. Felt like these guys just came out of nowhere. Also love when new bands try new shit mixed in with thier typical genres, like the mid section to this song.

Norwegian blackened death metal dripping with tons of atmosphere. Shaarimoth dwell and thrive in deep obscurity. One of my recent favorites to crop up over the past decade.

Finnish melodic death metal favorite of mine. Kalmah have had a very consistent and underground career. Definitely underrated, they got a lot of flak for sounding too close to Children of Bodom. But after their 3rd album Kalmah really struck out in their own heavier style, with lower growls.
